  • Hi Anna and Carl,
We are happy about your travels and hope the weather will be good to you. If you get to Arizona we would love to see you both. I hope we can follow along with you on this great adventure.
    Love, Auntie Jo

  • Hi Anna. I think we may have worked together. I work in Mpls as a photo assistant. I’m sure I have seen ya around. This sounds like the adventure of a lifetime for you two. I am currently building a teardrop camper with hopes to hit up much of the west coast and some eastern states.
Look forward to following your adventure. Good Luck and travel safe.

    • Hi Keith- yes!! Totally. That is so awesome- we looked at a few teardrops before we left and LOVED them (ended up deciding that we needed a little more capacity for a whole year / didn’t have time to have one built- we’re new to the whole trailer business 😉 ) – but that is definitely the way we’d go in the future. Hopefully I’ll have some good recommendations when we’re done! If you don’t already have it, the Allstays app is really helpful!

  • Hi Carl and Anna, I see you will be in Arizona soon! There is so much to see in this state, but if it works with your schedule, you are welcome to stay with us in Scottsdale for a home-cooked meal, real bed and bath. Just let us know if it is a possibility and we can send you address, phone info, etc. Barbara and Al Stephenson

    • Hi Barb!

I so apologize for the delay in getting back to you. Unfortunately, we aren’t planning to go very far into Arizona (we’re sticking pretty close to the border to go to the Grand Canyon, while weaving back up into Utah). It’s amazingly difficult to fit much into a week when you’re towing a trailer with you. We’ve been moving so quickly. It is so kind of you to offer us a place to stay! I really wish we could see you on this trip! We’ll have to make a point of meeting up at some point in the future so that I can introduce to you my husband Carl. Thanks so much again!
      Anna

      • Hi Anna,
Yes, I want to meet Carl! You are always welcome here, so feel free to stop by another time. I completely understand why you decided to stay in the “wilder” north, near the Grand Canyon. It is fun for us to experience your travels vicariously!

  • Some tips for Nebraska (from a Minnesotan living here)
-The Old Market, cobblestone walking area with restaurants, bars, music etc.
-Alpine Inn, hole in the wall fried chicken joint with a viewing window to watch raccoons and stray cats that get the leftovers
-Omaha visitors center Craft Brew Explorer’s Journal. Passport that has free beer coupon to every brewery in town. FREE!

-Jazz on the green-Thursday night free outdoor picnic style Jazz concert in Midtown Crossing’s Turner Park
-Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge that connects Iowa and Nebraska over the Missouri River

    Have a great trip!
